Background: Styx is an annoyance, plain and simple. From when he was very little, he followed Jade around supposedly 'in love' with her, even though she would have nothing to do with him. They are distant cousins, likely fourth or fifth removed, so in effect they could get together if it wasn't such a one sided attraction.

Styx is actually the 'guardian' of a nearby forest, which has been dubbed the Star Valley Forest, being that the valley that it is in takes the name from the clan name of the furs that live there. Styx's magic however, is far inferior to Jade's, a topic which pains him to think about. He is also jealous of her forest and her ability to gain people that like her effortlessly, something that the egotistical Styx has an issue with.

Attitude:Styx is egotistical and haughty, believing himself to be a pinnacle of the male feline fur race. He tends to be suave and smooth when dealing with females, although his topics of conversation generally lead to his activities, his feelings and his appearance, believing himself to be quite the nice piece of fur. He also considers himself higher than the humans around, which may be true, but he goes to such effects as to make humans living in his forest bow when he passes by and also requests that they offer him tribute once monthly. He is generally not a cruel dictator however, and merely acts very showy, meaning that while he might demolish a tree to make an example of his power, he really would not have the heart to do it to a sentient type being. Styx also tends to be lazy and has a few 'friends' that do a lot of his work for him.
