Background: Jadirrya, or as she'd rather be called, "Forestcat" is the guardian of the Silver Birch Forest, as was her mother, and her mother's father before that. In the history of the Silver Birch Forest, the offspring that were born to a previous guardian were tested in magic when it was time for the old guardian to pass on. The one that had the highest potential of magic took on the title of "guardian" of this forest. Her parents were only blessed to have herself as offspring and thus, it was left to Forestcat to take on the mantle of "guardian".

Her parents, however, did not want her to be alone and unarmed against the world. Her father, being the adventuring scout that most often led human parties towards hunting grounds and the like, taught her the skills of defense, as well as offense, and those of scouting, tracking and hunting so that she could provide for herself. The twin hunting knives that she carries were a gift from her father, having magical properties themselves as well as one of them having a light gem in it's hilt.

Her mother taught her everything she knows about magic, and the staff that her mother carried was passed down to the young feline upon her coming of age. The staff aids Forestcat's own magic, being a magical reservoir of sorts. As well, using the combined magic of her mother, and her father having some minor magics himself, she has the ability to shift into alternate forms of a large forest cat, a huge silver wolf, and a hawk.

Attitude: The nomenclature of "Forestcat" is really more of a title than anything, given to her by the village. It's easier to remember and the village seems to give it as an honor to be called that, so she's become accostomed to it. Forestcat, in general is a true helpful spirit. She doesn't likely turn her back on animals, other humans, furs or anything in need. . . although she does have her limits. She only helps those whom are good, or have the potential to be so, always giving most beings the benefit of the doubt unless they've proven themselves a foe of herself or nature. She is very caring towards her forest charges, and a source of wisdom and a cooler head to ask for help when the village needs something. These traits as well as the typical curiosity of the feline race, and her extensive background in magical as well as historical lore, cause her to be well learned in many things, which aids in her role of "advisor" to the village of Firvurren.
